Terms of Use

Sirena Logbook is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add a few points specific to the app.

1. Not an official record

Sirena Logbook is a personal tool. It does not replace your original certificates, your discharge book or any record kept by a flag state, company or authority. The sea service PDF is a summary prepared by you; it becomes evidence only when the master or the company signs and stamps it.

2. Check what the app reads

The app reads text from your documents automatically and may get a field wrong. You confirm each field before saving and you stay responsible for the dates and numbers you rely on. Reminders are a help, not a guarantee: always check the expiry dates on the documents themselves.

3. Your data, your copy

Everything is stored only on your iPhone. We cannot restore lost data. Keep your iPhone backed up.

4. Logbook Pro

Logbook Pro is a yearly auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed renewals, refused boardings, fines or any other loss caused by an expired document or a wrong date. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
